Description:

	Guin is a hardcore Marine.  He works hard and strives 
to follow orders to the letter.  His only problem is that he 
tends to think about it too much.  Instincts confuse him and 
this occasionally leads him into trouble.  When situations call 
for quick decision making, he's not the one to call.  However, 
he otherwise keeps a cool head and can be infinitely patient 
when the situation demands it.  Guin also has trouble when it 
comes to women.  He views them as objects to be defended and 
taken care of.  This becomes a problem when women enter the 
Marines.  If they are under him in rank and have the misfortune 
to fall under his command, they rarely, if ever, get sent out 
on dangerous missions.  If they are above him, he has trouble 
holding himself back and could cause some trouble where serious 
combat is involved.
	Guin enjoys a good game of chess.  Perhaps ironically, 
he has no head for any form of study, as books tend to confuse 
him.  He is usually up for any team sport, especially with the 
guys.  He eventually hopes to settle down and have three 
children and two dogs.
