Lieutenant Shaw is sickbay's newest recruit 
(after Lt. Sakar).  She transferred from Star 
Base Delta six months ago (S.D.121102) where 
she completed her residency.  During her time 
at Delta Amy was a more than capable doctor, 
and a gifted academic, graduating at the top 
of her class in her final exams.  It was 
expected that Lt. Shaw would quickly establish 
herself as an excellent physician.

However, since coming aboard the Constellation, 
her performance seems to have suffered.  The 
Constellation's last CMO noted several areas of 
concern including late attendances and overdue 
reports.  However, this deterioration in 
performance is probably due to lack of 
confidence rather than lack of application.  
Nonetheless she is very popular with the crew, 
due in equal parts to her exceptional looks and 
her even more exceptional bedside manner. Like 
Lt. Sakar her academic major was in xenobiology.
