Lt. Alejandro Javez (Han to his friends) is something 
of the departmental prodigy.  It is widely believed 
that he graduated from Star Fleet Medical in a shorter 
time than anyone before him.  It is a matter of record 
that Lt. Javez completed his residency in just two years.  
During that time he served aboard the USS Titan where he 
was largely responsible for saving the life of that 
ship's first officer during an away mission.  This, in 
conjunction with his excellent academic record ensured 
that he was graduated ahead of schedule and was offered 
a position on the Constellation.

For all his brilliance, Lt. Javez is still somewhat 
inexperienced and has much to learn about the medical 
profession that is not taught in the textbooks.  He is 
also prone to the occasional reckless act and has been 
cautioned by his colleges in the past for his reckless 
behaviour. Nonetheless, as things stand Lt. Javez has a 
great future ahead of him.
